EssentialFunctions/Responsibilities

?Collaboratewithinternalteamstoexecutesupplychainrequirements.Assistdecisionmakingprocessforsupplierselectionthroughtheanalysisofevaluationdata,presentrecommendations.

?Conductsystem/process/productauditsofsuppliersanddevelopimprovementplanswithsuppliers.

?Functionasliaisonbetweensourcing,engineering,manufacturingandsupplierstoresolvesupplierqualityissuesandtoprovidetechnicalsupportthroughproductfulllifecycle.

?Monitorsqualityperformance,trendsandmanufacturingprocessimprovementsbycoordinatingwithsuppliersandverifyingobjectiveevidence.Improvesupplierqualityperformancebyconductingworkshopsatsupplierlocations,providingtechnicalassistanceindevelopingaqualityplan,qualitysystem,orothertechnicalsupportasrequired.

?Establishandgrowsupplierpartnershipsthroughtrainingofcontractrequirementsandcustomerexpectations.

?Refinesandenhancesproductqualityandprocessesbyapplyinginnovativecontinuousimprovementandleanmanufacturing/productionprinciplesandtechniquestocriticalareasofasupplier'sproduction.GrowandevolvetheContinuousImprovementDatabaseasasourceofbestpractices.

?Providesinputonsuppliercapability,deliveryandqualitytoproductdevelopmentteamstoassistinworktransfer,longtermagreementsandcostreductionactivities.

?Supportssupplierworktransfers,performssuppliercapabilityanalysistosupportthesourceselectionprocess,providesknowledgetransfertonewsuppliersandmonitorsthedevelopmentofnewprocessesandproductsatthesupplier.Identifiesrisksandassistssuppliersduringthetransitionphaseofthetransfer.

?ProvidesupportforReceivingInspectionbypreparingandmaintaininginspectionplans.

?Understandsstatisticalprocesscontrolsbyreviewingandmaintainingapplicablesupportingdocuments(8D,DFMEA,PFMEA,FlowCharts,ControlPlans,etc.).Analyzesdatabycompletinghypothesis,normaldistribution,andprocesscapabilityanalysistests.Six-Sigmaprojectportfoliomanagement.

?Abletoworkbothindependentlyandaspartoftheteamtocompletecomplexprojectsinatimelymannerandwithinbudgetconstraints.
