AcademicAdvisorsassiststudentsastheydevelopmeaningfuleducationalplanscompatiblewiththeirlifegoals.Theyserveasasourceofinformationaboutthedegreerequirements,policies,andproceduresoftheuniversityandmeetwithstudentstodiscussindividualizedacademicquestionsandconcerns.Theadvisorsserveasaliaisonwithotherofficesonstudentcasesandmakereferralsforstudentstouniversityresourcesasappropriate.Whiletheultimateresponsibilityformakingdecisionsaboutlifeandeducationalplansrestswitheachindividualstudent,academicadvisorsassiststudentsbysuggestingoptionsandbydiscussingpossibleoutcomesofthechoicestheymake.

Themainresponsibilitiesinclude:

-Provideacademicadvisingtoassignedcaseloadofstudentsincluding:

*Helpingstudentsdefineandevaluateprogresstowardstheirownacademic,careerandlifegoals;

*Helpingstudentsunderstandcurricularrequirements,providingguidanceduringcourseselection,

andprovidinghelpwithidentifyingothermeaningfuleducationalexperiences;

*Referringstudentstoinstitutionalandcommunitysupportservicesforassistanceifnecessary;

*Monitoringstudents’progressastheymovethroughtheundergraduateprogram.

-Maintainstudentfilesandrecords,updatingcomputerizedinformationsystemsasneeded.

-Reviewandprocessacademicproceduressuchasgradechecks,overloadpetitions,curriculumchanges,andstudyawayapplications.

-Trackstudentretention,conductstudentdegreeaudits,andmaintainup-to-dateadvisingstatistics.

-Liaisonwithfacultytoprovideupdatedandaccurateinformationoncurriculumtostudents.

-OtherprojectsasassignedsuchasassistingwiththePeerAdvisingProgram,creatingpromotionalmaterials,andcreatingspecialprogramstoenhancethequality,breadth,anddepthofacademicadvisingservices.

Qualification

RequiredEducation

-Bachelor’sdegreeinEducation,Counseling,orrelatedacademicfieldisrequired.Master’sdegreeispreferred.

RequiredExperience

-Oneyearacademicadvisingexperienceorequivalentcombinationofexperienceand/oreducationfromwhichcomparableknowledge,skills,andabilitieshavebeenachieved.Twoyearsofexperienceworkingwithcollegestudentsoryoungadultsinanacademicorcareerservicecounselingcapacityispreferred.

職位描述:

1、開發國內有赴日商務考察需求的客戶,與客戶建立長期良好合作關系;

職位職責

1、及時與留學顧問、學生溝通,高質量完成留學申請文書;

2、翻譯學生的各類申請資料;

3、協同配合其它部門工作,保證留學申請的進度推進;

4、積極跟進簽證環節及后期服務。

任職要求

1、英語系本科及以上學歷,英語專業四級或以上;

2、英語寫作能力優秀,文筆清晰有特色;

3、具有較強的語言溝通能力和表達能力,能夠處理好與同事及客戶之間的關系;

4、雙一流院校畢業/有留學行業文書工作經驗者優先。
