KeyResponsibilities:

*AssisttheAssistantPrincipalindeveloping,implementingandmaintainingapolicyforthemanagementanduseoftheLibraryandResourceCentreasaresourcewhichsupportslearningandteachingintheschool,incollaborationwithotherstaff.

*Manageandorganiseresources,facilitiesandservicesprovidedbytheLibraryandResourceCentreinconjunctionwiththeschoolmanagementteam,toallowflexibleaccessandsupportforcurricularactivities,studysupportandindependentuse.

*MonitorandevaluatetheeffectivenessoftheserviceprovidedbytheLibraryandResourceCentreandimplementchanges,wherenecessary,preparingaLibraryandResourceCentreimprovementplan,inordertomeetnewprioritiesinconjunctionwiththeAssistantPrincipalandotherstaff.

*Select,acquire,purchase,adviseonthepromotelearningresourcesinallformatsandrecreationreadingmaterialwhichsupportthecurriculum,learningandteachingandliteracy,inconsultationwithschoolmanagementandotherteachingstaff,ensuringequalityofaccessforallpupilsandstaff.

*Index,catalogueandclassifylearningresourcesintheLibraryandResourceCentreanddevelopandmaintainaccurateandreliablecatalogueandlendingsystems.

*Collaboratewithteachingstaffintheplanning,development,deliveryandevaluationofrelevantinformationandstudyskillsprogrammesintheLibraryandResourceCentre.

*ContributetothedevelopmentandpromotionoftheuseofrelevantITCapplicationstosupportlearningandteachingintheLibraryandResourceCentre,includingCD-Rom,on-linedatabase,e-mailandInternet,andkeepabreastofICTinitiativeswhichhaveanimpactonthedeliveryofaschoollibraryandresourceservice.

*Disseminateinformationonresourcesandservicesthroughtheproductionofcurriculum-basedbibliographiesofLibraryandResourceCentreresources,andwhereappropriate,organisebookevents,authorvisits,bookfairsandexhibitionsinconsultationwithschoolmanagement.

*DevelopandmaintainlinkswithexternalagenciesandsourcestomaximisetheuseofappropriatematerialsandinformationfortheLibraryandResourceCentre,includingpubliclibraries,museumlocalcolleges,communitylearningservicesandotherlocalauthorities.

*EncouragepupilinvolvementintherunningoftheLibraryandResourceCentre.

*Bewillingtomakeapositivecontributiontotheoverallschoolethos.

篇2:學校圖書管理員職責

圖書館管理員在教導主任直接領導下,應牢固樹立為教育、教學工作,為師生服務的思想,熱心做好學校圖書館管理和流通工作,成為學校豐富文化生活,增進學生知識的一個重要陣地。

一、根據上級調撥經費情況,結合學生實際需求,根據學校教育、教學需要,有計劃、有原則地選購圖書,注意圖書的社會效益,防止積壓。

二、主動為教師服務,不斷增加新書開架數目,定期、定時向教師、學生開放,主動向師生推薦新書與教學資料,注意信息反饋,經常聽取教師、學生意見,不斷改進工作,及時提供教與學的參考書籍,提高書的流通和作用效率。

三、對新書應及時登記入冊,做好分類編目,帳目清楚,及時向總務部門上報,對舊書及時做好修補、報廢工作。

四、做到熱心服務,秉公辦事,嚴格執行政策,及時做好宣傳工作,嚴禁利用職權,將未入帳的書,借給任何人,一經發現,必須追究責任。

五、配合學校教育教學工作,主動推薦有關書目和資料,定期向閱覽室提供書籍。

六、制訂“五防”措施(防火、防塵、防潮、防霉、防蛀)。

七、根據要求制訂館室及教師學生外借、賠償制度、書庫管理制度。

八.認真做好學校和教導處布置的其他工作。

篇3:某圖書管理員安全職責

1、嚴格執行圖書借閱規則及賠償制度,及時做好圖書的分類編號,保證學校圖書財產賬物相符。

2、學生出借圖書期間,圖書管理員應做好組織、巡視工作,以防學生擁擠而造成傷害事故。

3、負責做好圖書購買、書刊鑒別工作,保證圖書內容健康。嚴禁內容不健康的書刊購人。

4、在圖書館內不得存放易燃品和私人物品,嚴禁吸煙。認真做好通風、降濕、防蛀、防水、防火和衛生工作。

5、每天下班前對圖書室進行衛生、安全等檢查,發現問題,當即解決。

7、嚴格執行圖書管理制度,堅守崗位,負責書庫的管理,保持書庫和圖書清潔、整齊、通風,防止圖書霉爛、蟲蛀和火災。

8、上下課時,協助課任教師做好學生在圖書室樓梯和走廊通行時的疏散工作。嚴防學生由于擁擠而造成的相互踐踏傷亡事故。
